On Board Escape Artist
James Bond Island

The month of May this year, has been a great month for customers to charter a Motor Boat or Yacht from Epic Charters mainly due to great weather and calm seas.

Our Flagship Boat Escape Artist has been on diving trips to Koh Bida Nok and Koh Bida Nai where the clients saw Turtles, Leopard Sharks, a cuttlefish and of course the beautiful corals and anemones in the area. We also visited Phangh Nga Bay. With the captains knowledge of the Phang Nga Bay Islands, hongs and beaches as well as the local knowledge of the host we know where to take our guest to maximise the experience.

Escape Artist moored up at James Bond Island allowing the clients to disembark and enjoy walking around and exploring the famous setting of the James Bond 007 movie - 'The Man with the Golden Gun"
From there we cruised around the islands visiting secluded beaches and Koh Hong which is an amazing place to explore by Kayak (Escape Artist has a two seater Kayak for clients to use) or just by swimming form the boat and walking through at low tide. The cave system is fully accessible at low tide - allowing you to walk/ swim through a tunnel into a cave that opens up into a cathedral like room with the roof being open to the sky, the sun streams through the opening and causes the water to almost shimmer. It was a great adventure, a fun way to spend some time during the charter exploring and swimming.

Once the clients returned to the boat they sat down to eat a freshly prepared lunch of Lobster (available by special request) and a mix of BBQ and Sea Food dishes - all purchased locally and prepared by our on board chef. After lunch it was time to begin making our way back to Chalong, of course we stopped at Koh Kai for an hour of snorkeling on the local reef there. The clients were amazed by the wide range of reef fishes and corals and had a great time feeding the fishes that swarmed around them as we threw in bread and bananas.

Unfortunately the day had to come to an end and we slowly cruised past the islands on the way back to Chalong and moored up to meet the air conditioned limousine we had arranged to take the clients back to the hotel.
